Dear Customers,

We sincerely apologize for the recent downtime experienced on our Indian Shared Hosting and VPS servers.

The issue started on the night of 30th, when a technical problem occurred in the datacenter's node network. Our team, along with datacenter engineers, resolved the network issue by around 3:00 AM.

Unfortunately, at around 6:00 AM, a disk failure occurred that affected several VPS containers and data from some shared hosting accounts. Due to the sensitivity of the data, the datacenter involved their Level 3 engineers, who reached by noon and began working carefully on the issue.

Seeing the delay and understanding the urgency, AquaHost purchased a new dedicated server and set it up for all Indian Shared Hosting clients. We began restoring backup data (over 950GB) and, by midnight, we were able to bring back 90% of the websites online.

 

We truly regret the inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.

This is to inform you that our Singapore-based shared server is currently facing a high-level DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack, which has been traced back to a group identifying themselves as "ShadowCrack Team".

Details of the Situation:

  • The attackers are targeting our node-level network, resulting in temporary service disruption.

  • The scale of the attack is significant and is affecting server connectivity and stability.

  • Please be assured that your data is completely safe and there is no data breach.

What We Are Doing:
